Q2 is nearly over. We've facilitated some brilliant rooms, made some honest product decisions, and launched new AI workshops.

The reason? More and more of our clients know they need AI, they just don't know how to implement it or measure it. That's the problem we're helping them solve for.

Here’s what we’ve been up to. We have also enclosed a freebie with some tactics and tools to help you measure your AI strategy. Get in touch with us for it.

‍

5 Things We Learned in Q1

  • Companies aren’t overwhelmed by AI, they’re overwhelmed how to strategically apply it and measure the results.
  • AI adoption that isn't tied to a broader company vision just creates faster chaos.
  • We have seen first hand that facilitating from the outside gives leadership teams permission to think differently.
  • Running experiments is only valuable if you’re willing to call them when they don't work.
  • Thoughtful, human-centred design still stands out, especially when AI-generated interfaces are everywhere, which are seriously diluting carefully strategised USPs.

‍

What Didn’t Work

We’re a small company, which means we move fast, and we've been running experiments since July 2025 to figure out what actually resonates. Not everything did.

Our Scorecard was one of them. We built it, put it out there. Despite a positive uptake, we identified there was not enough value for the customers in the product we were offering. So we pulled it.

We always advise our customers to run small experiments and to identify the ones that aren’t performing. Do not waste time on products that do not provide you a strong ROI.

Here at BeTheLeap, we also follow our own advice and we hope it motivates you to do the same.

Facilitating an AI leadership Off-Site

This quarter involved planning and facilitating an AI leadership offsite for an international shipping and maritime company for 40 of their C-suite team. The brief was straightforward: get leadership aligned around AI for their 2027 growth strategy. What we found - and this is something we’re seeing across companies right now - is that the strategy existed but it wasn't connected to where the company actually wanted to go. AI was being treated as a solution not a tool.

Our job was to facilitate the thinking, help them capture the forward momentum, and make sure what came out of the room was something they could actually act on. It was one of the most energising workshops we’ve run, especially with the integrated AI-Hackathon.

Emodo’s Corporate Website

We were asked to redesign the corporate website for Emodo, a leading advertising technology company. We leveraged AI to animate static images and add a dynamic visual layer to communicate how the Emodo platform works.

AI is ubiquitous at the moment, so we only wanted to use AI that was complementary to the service offering rather than using it for the sake of it.

It's an ongoing project this quarter, more to come on this one!
